Description
A soft leather overshirt in dark chocolate brown - lighter than a jacket, sharper than a shirt.
Charnwood is cut like a heavyweight shirt: a soft point collar, a press-stud front, two flap chest pockets and press-stud cuffs, with a straight hem you can wear loose. The lambskin is light and supple, and the half lining in smooth polyester keeps it easy to layer over a tee or under a coat. It is the jacket for in-between weather, when a full leather jacket is too much.
Wear it open over a white tee in spring or buttoned over a fine merino knit in autumn.

Measure around the fullest part of your chest, under the arms. Relaxed fit, ends just below the hip. Back length for size M is approx. 72 cm and grows by about 1 cm per size. Between sizes? Choose your usual size for a close fit, or the next size up to wear a thick jumper underneath. Measurements are approximate (+/- 1.5 cm).
Care
Do not machine wash, soak or tumble dry. Wipe marks with a soft, slightly damp cloth. If the jacket gets wet, let it dry naturally at room temperature away from radiators and direct heat. Condition the leather once or twice a year with a leather conditioner and store it on a broad hanger, out of direct sunlight. For deep stains use a specialist leather cleaner. Leather is a natural material: small variations in grain and colour are part of its character.
